The film follows the charming but disturbed Ben Burns (Hedges), who returns home to his family without bringing to light a Christmas hospitality. Ben Holly Burns’ prudent mother (Roberts) is glad to return to his beloved son, but soon he finds out that he’s still very bad. During the 24 hours that can change her life forever, Holly has to do everything in her power to avoid falling out of the family.
