Gimme Danger

Appearing for the first time in Ann Arbor, Michigan, during a counter-cultural revolution, the powerful and aggressive rock’n’roll style of the Stooges made the effect of a bomb in the musical landscape of the end Of the 60s. Blasting the audience with a mix of rock, blues, R & B and free jazz, the band in which Iggy Pop begins laid the foundation for what would later be called punk and alternative rock. Gimme Danger, the new film by Jim Jarmusch, traces the epic Stooges, one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
Gimme Danger presents the context in which the Stooges emerged musically, culturally, politically, historically and traces their adventures and misadventures by showing their inspirations and reasons for their first commercial challenges, until their arrival at the Pantheon of Rock.
