Hellboy is a supernatural action adventure based on the popular Dark Horse Comics series. Born in hellfire and brought to earth as a child to do evil, Hellboy was rescued by the drunken forces of Dr. Broom. Hellboy creates an unlikely family, composed of “Mer-Man” with Abe Sapien and Liz Sherman, the woman he loves who can control the fire. Hidden in the society they protect, they represent the basic line of defense against a madman who seeks to recover Hellboy on the dark side and use his powers to destroy mankind.
