In a traditional house in Yokohama, Noriko and her cousin Michiko learn about the tea ceremony. Initially focused on her career in publishing, Noriko is finally seduced by the ancestral gestures of Madame Takeda, her demanding teacher. Over time, she discovers the flavor of the present moment, becomes aware of the rhythm of the seasons and gradually changes her outlook on existence. Michiko, she decides to follow a completely different path.
