Thor: Love And Thunder

While Thor is deep in introspection and in search of serenity, his retreat is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr, who has made it his mission to exterminate all gods. To confront this threat, Thor enlists the help of Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who, to his surprise, inexplicably wields his mighty hammer, Mjolnir. Together, they embark on a dangerous cosmic adventure to understand Gorr’s motives for revenge and stop him before it’s too late.

So Thor has become a parody… here’s the takeaway. And even in the register of parody it’s bad. The film is appalling from start to finish. This is by far the worst Marvel I’ve seen. The story has neither head nor tail and the heroes are no longer heroic. Taika Waititi could not do better to discredit Thor and at the same time the entire Marvel universe. It is a punishment to see such actors (Russell Crowe and Nathalie Portman in the first rounds) playing such thankless roles. Only Christian Bale comes out of this film with his head held high.
