The first images of the adaptation of the Gran Turismo video game by Neill Blomkamp (District 9) have just been unveiled and promise thrills for fans of the video game franchise and car racing.
The film tells the true story of British runner Jann Mardenborough’s success story. This Gran Turismo fan has managed, thanks to his skills in video games, to become a true professional racing driver. He participated in the GP3 Series, the 24 hours of Le Mans and the Japanese Super GT series.
The images released during Sony’s annual CES conference show behind the scenes of certain scenes and feature interviews with the main cast of David Harbor (Jack Salter), Orlando Bloom (Danny Moore) and hero Archie Madekwe (Jann Mardenborough) . These promise us great races, total immersion and even a love story.
Darren Barnet, Djimon Hounsou and Geri Halliwell are also announced in the casting of this great action film.
