Victor Fielding lost his pregnant wife in an earthquake in Haiti 12 years earlier. Since then, he has raised their daughter Angela alone, who was born despite this terrible disaster. But when Angela and her friend Katherine disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with total amnesia, a series of events, each more atrocious than the last, will confront Victor with the quintessence of evil. Totally distraught, he will try to find the only person still alive who witnessed this type of atrocity: Chris MacNeil.
